The wine is a deep red-purple and displays powerful aromas of rich blueberry, sweet cacao, coffee, touches of licorice and dried herbs. The palate is layered and complex with fine ripe tannins. Supple, opulent but balanced and elegantly structured. Floral and tobacco notes show through in a long finish. Drinking well now but will cellar for 20 years.
